2009 - what a year!

Anna's year 2009

Soo guys. It has been a while, I know and I really apologize for not updating the last few days.
This is gonna be a long post actually.
I don't even know if it makes any sense to post this stuff here actually.
What I have been doing since my last blog?
Not much actually.I'm currently killing time before I meet my girlfriend tonight.
Oh yes I still have to work on the run up to christmas like most others out there
Christmas is coming soon and so the time's like running away from me.
I'm pretty exited though. It's very possible that I won't be able to update over Christmas cus I'm about to leave here and spend some time with the family.
Considering we have December now, I guess it's time for a year-end retrospective .

To me personal, 2009 was a very special year. I've passed my school exam(Abitur)and started to live my own life without my family's direct help.
Many things which happened this year have changed me and my basic personality a lot.
I became independent actually. Before we continue, let's review the course objectives. Like I already metioned, I haven't figured out what exactly I wanna become in a few years.
Otherwise, I'm not even sure if it's necessary to be always 100% sure about facts and future.
I've learned this year to sometimes look on the other side of life. Not to believe in lies that easily anymore is something I've learned this year, too.
Politically considered, this year has been silhouetted against other years.
WE HAVE A BLACK PRESIDENT!
Can you believe it? If you had told me we're gonna have a black president I would have laughed at you.
But time passed and so America DID change. We're not a that self-refering nation anymore, as the world brandet us. I mean, Obama is still alive, isn't he?
Apropos crazy nation. Recently, I watched a really random video about the "Most hated family in America"

  • America's most hated family

  • It's about an extendet family and about their crazy kind of lifestyle and faith in god.
Watch it by yourself and I'm sure you will agree that they'd better go and see the doctor..
However, back to politics. In Germany the jobless rate rises more and more. People become lazy and are not even willing to work and to earn because they're parasite and like to rest on our money. The gonverment is to busy with "saving our environment" and they don't wanna see the actual problem.
Anyways, how we can keep doing this has yet to be determinated!

    Okay let's regard love.
This year has been very shaky.
I've been trough a lot of shitty relationships and I've met a lof of interesting people in 2009.
As I'd never expected meeting a boy who's not gonna judge me from my outer appearance, I met someone..
It was pretty funny to look behind his HUGE wall and to notice little things which showed me he's into me.
It's not that easy sometimes but after all I can just wait and see!
Now, that I've seen I need real love people mocked me for the fact, I want some real love. They were thinking about the many games I've played with many hearts.
The person I'm talking about, knows that he's meant!

    Alright.
This is enough for today I guess. I want to say thank you for the amazing year and I'm grateful, that my family provided me the oppurtunity to make some compleatly new experiences and supported me in every way.
A few friends have been here the whole time. Stood by my side and overcame problems with me. Thank you guys so much. I love you all.
And at the very end, I want to thank Jane. I don't know her for a long time yet, but I can say that I already consider her as one of the most important parts of my life.

    The media!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

    Anna's summary about media

    The media
There are over 1.500.000.000 people currently using the internet.
This rate is pretty high considering we have a population of 6.500.000.000.
I did a little survey about using the media recently and my friends told me they can’t imagine of a life without the media anymore.

What’s about the media making our community freaking out?

Actually, I’m using a few instant messengers ,facebook ,twitter, myspace.. etc..
Honestly. Who of you never made any negative experiences with using the media?
Let’s regard virtual life games. Many youth or adults neglect their real life thanks to their virtual life online.
So many World of Warcraft addicted people spend their entire spare time with sitting in front of a screen and role-playing stupid ugly characters on a unrealistic computer game in a unrealistic computer world.
It has been alarming because they forget everything around and just concentrate on this stupid game.
Families and relationships get destroyed due to computer games addiction.
Violence games are the reason for youth freaking out and becoming criminal or violent.

Bullying is a big problem about the internet, too. Many people are way too cowardly dissing somebody face to face.
But long live the internet! Internet gives people the opportunity to bully people online. It’s named Cyber-Bullying.
Without the internet ,our every day life wouldn’t have that many complications sometimes ,I think!

I had to learn one thing the hard way. Be careful with sharing your privacy!
Your identity can be faked by someone else and your pictures can be taken for any illegal activities.

Ok. Now you’re gonna ask yourself : Hey, if there are so many disadvantages about the internet, why is she still using it?
Alright. Of course the internet gives us a lot of advantages too!
    For example, communication!
Internet, gives us the opportunity to keep in touch with our friends and to make new friends with people from foreign countries and all over the world.
I’m currently not living in my home country and that’s why I’m deeply grateful because of the internet!
It makes it so much easier to stay in contact with my friends/family.

Publishing ourselves is why internet got that important to us the last few years.

Okay guys, I want to hear your opinion about this issue now!

    "The hole"

Like Bella said in New Moon :"It's like a huge hole has been punched into my chest"

If you really love somebody, that makes it so much more difficult to leave somebody behind you and to turn your back on him.
I always thought, I would never make the same mistakes again but I erred..
It's always the same.Everything I do, I'm not doing it for myself..
As I realized what actually happens to me, it was too late.
When I was younger, I got hurt a lot and that's why I never let anybody close to me.
Only a few people around me were allowed to see behind the curtain.
After my last relationship I swore that I'm not going to hurl myself into another "not-working" ralationship.
I wanted to be careful who I'm gonna trust and whom i'm gonna give my heart.
It hurts so much to realize ,that you never had the opportunity to get over it.
Unless, there were a few things which made my life awful sometimes, I would not have grown up as the person I am.
Friends are like stars. You cannot always see them-but they're always there?
I guess, there are certain friends who wouldn't be false. Friends who listen and who'd never feel bothered.
Higher than the highest mountain and brighter than the brightest star!
That's the secret to the best friendship.
To take care of your friends doesn't include the matter of course to get back what you once gave!
Actually, you never get back what you deserve on average.
Pick out your true, real friends and start to classify your friends into groups.
It necessary having a few friends to go out with and a few friends to overcome problems with.
I never wanted to see any of my friends unhappy and I want everything but not lose them..
But something you need to learn at least by doing is saying good-bye.
Don't get influenced by the first impression!

    It's Christmas time!

Jingle bells, Jingle Bells, jingle all the way..!

Soo. It's December 2nd now and I already opend my second window on my advent calendar..
That means ,it's time to go back home and spend some time with the family.
I've been thinking about christmas presents recently and I actually figured out that we don't really need them.
Christmas presents have been considered as a must-have for christmas.
Most ppl forget the actual reason we sit together and celebrate the Nativity.
As I went to the church last sunday I went through the importance of Christmas by myself.
I arrived at the conclusion that we'd celebrate Christmas as a festivity of love.
Let's spread love! There's never enough love around us in today's world.
While we read these phrases, around the world are currently dying a few thousand of people due to hunger or poverty.
However. We'd be happy about what god gave us and should appreciate it as much as possible!

And that's why I did a little research and selected the Christmas Story. The Gospel of Luke.

    The Birth of Jesus

1In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. 2(This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3And everyone went to his own town to register.

4So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
    The Shepherds and the Angels
8And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ[a] the Lord. 12This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."

13Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
14"Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."

15When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let's go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about."

16So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.

    Film review

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

    New Moon!

When I got outta the cinema I was hypnotized because of this emotional movie with all it's romantic scenes.
Well, actually I didn't really like the first movie "twilight" because it was so different to the actual book and only by watching the movie you couldn't retrace Bella's strong feelings for Edward.
Cath has done a good job but I think it could have been better.
New Moon beated the pants off Twilight and I almost cried 3 times haha.
First, when Edward left Bella , second, when Bella was left there alone and suffering from Edwards gone and third when Bella and Edward were together again. That was so hard that i was almost about to leave the cinema haha.
Sounds funny but in general i'm a very sensitive person and so I really took New moon close to my heart.
Beside the emotional part, the movie had a lot of funny scenes, too.
Jasper cracked a really funny joke and Em was funny as usual.
I liked the last scene best because Jacob was fighting against Edward, which wasn't actually written in the book.
Anyways, I really want to see them fight. No I'm not a sadist but I think Bella has to realize what she's doing to them.
For that matter, the action in the movie was absolutely great.
I liked the wolfes a lot even I think Emily was a bit too ugly and her scar wasn't flashy enough.
A few scenes weren't necessary tho. For example when Bella had to get needled and you could see the entire scene and how Carlisle did his job. Things like that were a little negative about the movie.
Oh my god the Volturi looked so creepy! I nearly got goosebumps when I saw them.
Dakota is the perfect Jane. Honestly! Like her so much.
Volterra in the movie was how I expected it to look like. When I read the book, I visualized an old-looking typical italian village with basic colour orange.

All in all I have to say New Moon was a lot better than Twilight, and I'm really excited to watch Eclipse soon.
